Imperial visit at C+C Pfeiffer

Guided visit at C+C Pfeiffer.
Executive chef of the restaurant UNO Johann Schwarz  © ARCOTEL Kaiserwasser/ Haghofer
Especially in times of uncertainty about the quality and origin of groceries, it is important to critically inform oneself. Executive chef Johann Schwarz shares this opinion and thus, organized a guided visit of our supplier C+C Pfeiffer. The wholesaler of the hotel and gastronomy industry places great emphasis on the quality of its products and offers a great variety of regional as well as biological groceries. However, the management team of the ARCOTEL Kaiserwasser wanted to personally convince themselves and went to visit C+C Pfeiffer yesterday.

Not only we learned a lot about the quality management of our supplier, but also enjoyed exclusive wines and liquors. Additionally, a delicious cheese and sausage platter has been served that met the high expectations of our chef cook.

"At our restaurant UNO, it is our endeavor to culinary surprise our clients and therefore, the individual products have to be of the highest quality", so executive chef Johann Schwarz. For this reason, the ARCOTEL Kaiserwasser wants to personally know its suppliers. With this in mind, we would like to invite you to try our renowned kitchen at the restaurant UNO

Parking with a difference – in the ARCOTEL Velvet Berlin!

It's quite amazing: every day you see numerous cars driving in and out of the gate right beside the ARCOTEL Velvet Berlin, but you can look far and wide, there's no underground car park! The answer is quite easy really: hidden beneath our hotel in Oranienburger Straße we have a fully-automatic car parking garage!

It works like this: you park your car in the hotel's own "parking box" – and the highly sophisticated parking system takes care of the rest. Your car is automatically taken to one of our 24 parking spaces. The parking position is recorded on the chip given to you by our welcome team, which means at the end of your stay you can call your car back, virtually at the press of a button.

And the best thing about it is: your car is nearby and parked securely! The central location of the ARCOTEL Velvet Berlin with great public transport links in the "Mitte" district of Berlin makes our hotel's own car parking garage ideal if you are arriving by car: just leave your car with us and explore the city on foot or with public transport – we are in a great location both for business guests and if you are in Berlin for pleasure and sightseeing. Many different types of public transport pass by the hotel, such as trams on the M1, M6 and M12 lines as well as trains stopping at the "Oranienburger Tor" station on the U6 underground line. What is more, your car is protected round the clock from exposure to bad weather!

Our offer*:
• EUR 18.00 for 24 hours
• EUR 90 per month (annual lump-sum payment in advance, 12 months of use)*

• EUR 130 per month (monthly payments, 12 months of use)*
As a little "incentive", presenting your long-term car parking ticket entitles you to a 15% discount on prices in our VELVET LOUNGE bar!

For further information please contact: andre.otto@arcotelhotels.com

*The garage is not suitable for:
    -   low-ride cars and gas-powered vehicles
    -   cars longer than 5.10m, wider than 2m and taller than 2m
    -   cars whose total load-bearing weight exceeds 2500kg

Berlin for the whole family

Berlin is lively, creative, and above all, fun! The city offers an incomparable range of
entertainment for kids and adults alike – its fascinating cultural diversity never ceases to
amaze. Our capital is therefore the ideal destination for your next family adventure!

This is where you can discover new things together, learn tons and just let off steam - and it's not only the kids who will get a thrill. In a city this size you just don't know where to start! Entertainment or art and culture – what do you fancy? We have put together the main family highlights of Berlin, all you need to do is make your choice!

And the best of all: till 28th of February 2013 we offer an exclusive family special at the ARCOTEL John F Berlin and the ARCOTEL Velvet Berlin.

Our family highlights of the city:

For those with a sweet tooth – Ritter Sport's Chocoworld
Since 2012, Berlin has not only been the federal capital, it is also the chocolate capital of
Germany! Gendarmenmarkt Square is where you will find the world's first RITTER SPORT
flagship store: the COLOURFUL CHOCOWORLD. Literally spread over nearly 1,000 square
metres, there is nothing here that won't get the hearts of chocolate lovers racing. Take the
CHOCOPATH to learn how chocolate is made – from the growing of cocoa beans to the
ready-to-eat chocolate bar.

Zoo Aquarium
Berlin Zoo has the most significant collection of animals in the world with roughly 1,500 types
and around 16,000 animals in total, including countless fish, reptiles and amphibians! This is
because one of the main highlights of the zoo is the Zoo Aquarium – which can also be
visited separately from the zoo itself. Here for example you will find a 150,000 litre aquarium!

Legoland
On Potsdamer Platz you can dive into an interactive world of Lego bricks in the world's first
indoor Legoland: the Legoland Discovery Centre in the Sony Center. There are many things
to see and discover around the roughly 3,500 m² area, while you can also take a look behind
the scenes at Legoland. And the best thing is that Lego Miniland has built a miniature city of
Berlin from almost five million pieces of Lego.

LOXX Miniature Worlds Berlin
Allow yourself to be fascinated by a miniature world of superlatives! Right in the middle of the
city of Berlin there is a 950 m² model railway, or to be more precise: the world's largest
digitally-controlled model railway! Explore the city from a different perspective as the train
travels through Berlin as a miniature city, taking in the best-known sights of the capital.
